Ferrite magnets are a special type of magnet that also will not work with magnetic paints. The adhesive bond that needs to be achieved with the magnetic paint simply isn't strong enough to hold it's own weight up. The pushpin magnets we sell are made from a rare earth magnet known as neodymium making them among the strongest permanent magnet available on the market! Even if you have a fabric or other items covering the magnetic paint these magnets are so powerful that they will still hold, so post your items with confidence! Our pushpin magnets work like a tac but for metal and have 10 to 20 times the holding power of your average refrigerator magnet.
